In December of 2015 i stumbled across a LIFE CHANGING kitchen tool/gadget……… The Instant Pot. I looooooove my instant pot. If you haven’t heard of it it is a 7 in 1 multi functional electric pressure cooker. I have always been terrified of pressure cookers, in fear of them exploding and killing me or destroying my house, a little dramatic i know but seriously they are scary. The electric versions remove that fear all together as they have several safety features to prevent explosions and mass annihilation.

On top of being a pressure cooker the Instant Pot is also a Slow Cooker, Rice Cooker, Saute/Browning, Yogurt Maker, Steamer & Warmer. To date i have used the Saute/Browning, Rice Cooker, Steamer and Pressure cooking settings, everything that has come out of it has been amazing.  Awesome soups, brazed tender meats, the best ribs i have EVER had, hard boiled eggs, crustless quiche, steamed vegetables all without heating up my house and faster than the traditional methods. I have since converted my mom and she is loving her pot as well. I use my pot for almost every meal these days and you will see quite a few of my food adventures will happen in my instant pot.

I buy a lot of kitchen gadgets and i have to say this one has been the most successful and most used item. Even my husband was happy with this purchase.
